Electronic cookbook?

Postby Scott_W » Thu Mar 04, 2010

Does anyone know of a user loadable touch screen cookbook for a kitchen? My wife would like one.

Just tell them to get an iphone.

At first I thought this was going to be about something similar to the anarchist cookbook. That was so cool in 8th grade. Showed how to make light bulb bombs etc.

Its for my wife Josh. She wants to be able to also search by ingredients. Like say if she has 4 or 5 items, what can she make with it. You know... to poison me!

We found a few, but they are not being made yet. You get your name on a list.

IMO the problem with anything like that is that it's outdated in 2-3 years. Kinda like the can opener. They keep getting more modern each year.

I'm with umbrella drink boy. Get her the ipad and enjoy everything else.

Neat idea, Scott. Couldn't it be more of a software or an online thing than a special gadget? I tried Googling it and found this site:

http://www.recipematcher.com/

If you have a place planned for a laptop (maybe by the entrance to your office) Melissa could access it there. Would that work?

I don't know to think about a guy with a recipe book on his phone.
