lead junk

Discussion on the rule, beginning in April 2010, that contractors must follow specific work practices to prevent lead contamination.

I done got mine today too. What a POS looking card. I'll scan it and post it for you all to look at.

FWIW, the big newspaper in our area called me today for an interview regarding RRP regs. Spent about an hour on the phone with the reporter and we are still not done. She totally seemed to "get" how ludicrous some of the procedures would be for us to do in the real world.

We are going to continue the interview next week.

Be careful with the reporters........some of them will take your words and put there special twist to it. Once in print you are screwed.....

Whatever you do don't tell the reporter that you are now a citizen of the "USRRPP"

I'd leave it, maybe it's a technicality for dismissal you can use if ever involved in a LeadSafe practices lawsuit. :D

There is currently only one company that the EPA recognizes to sell surface to surface lead test kits. Can I invest in this company or do I need to become a US Senator first?

Exactly.. "Standing in line, believing the lies"

I don't know anyone that lives in a house older than 78. If I did i would pay to have one of these 189 window companies come over and replace a window just for giggles here in April.

What a coincidence. This whole thing smells very fishy to me. Money is changing hands somewhere.

I found it hard to believe that just one company has been approved by EPA to sell the test kits. I hope there are other companies seeking to get approved so there is some price competition as these tests don't come cheap.
