Site Optimized for Internet Explorer

Postby Josh » Mon Apr 20, 2009

I didn't realize how poor some of the sections were being displayed for members using Internet Explorer. I went through and fixed a lot of them. I normally use Firefox and Chrome and find myself forgetting to check how the site displays in other browsers.

As you can see 35% still use Internet Explorer and I'm most likely the only one that's using Google Chrome A couple of the smaller percentages are devices like BlackBerrys and Iphones. The download section had a lot of bugs in it for IE users. If you see something that looks messed up let me know. Most likely I am unaware.

I am using Fire Fox when I hit home it goes to the announcement page where you posted about removing old member names. Don't know why it does that but hey makes life interesting. It used to back to the main forum page so you could see all the areas.

Heck, I usually view this site through AOL, using IE, I suppose. Other then having to log on once a week, I don't seem to have any problems.

Occaisionally, I use Safari, because it is faster then IE.

I'm still using IE - zero issues. Also, my cell phone is just a phone; no apps, no texting, no thoughts of going to an iphone or Blackberry...for the scope and scale of my business both do what I need/want them to do.

Why disturb a turd?
